New Doors

It's been longer than I had hoped since my last post. So many of you guys reached out in support of me and Tesoro with all the stuff that's been going on, and I can’t thank you enough for that. 

Losing my investors has forced me to make some tough decisions.  I love my little headquarters in West Chester, but with the uncertainty of sales, and no help to fall back on during tough months, it is just is not going to be possible for me to keep the space. So I am writing today to make a few announcements. 

I was able to find someone to move into my shop, and that will be happening in mid-May. I had originally been hoping to find a new location/storefront in downtown Philly, but that has presented many of its own challenges. So instead of making a big move to Philly before I am ready, I am excited to announce a new collaboration. 

Many of you locals know Krystal from Old Soul Decor, an interior designer and shop owner here in West Chester. She is a great friend, artist, interior designer, teacher and so much more.  Krystal has been kind enough to offer me a space in her store, and I will be moving the retail shop to that location. Old Soul Decor is open 6 days a week (closed Mondays), with very similar hours and I hope this helps to make the transition as smooth as possible for my tribe here in town. My studio/working equipment will be moved to a warehouse just a few blocks away in West Chester, which means I will only be in the retail store for certain weekends unless you make an appointment to see me. You can shop the current collection anytime that Krystal is open, but I will not be there all the time. For about a week or two in mid-May I will be in limbo, working on the move. As it happens I will also be moving in my personal life, so it's going to be a crazy couple of weeks.

Also moving into Krystal's space is another female entrepreneur Lauren. She is a talented photographer, and she will be using the space for photo shoots, meetings and so much more. We are working on a collaboration so I can show all of you amazing people their work, paired with mine, and I will share more information about both Lauren and Krystal in the blog in the next few months!

The other big change I am making is a shift to get the online store to a better place so that you guys can shop from the comfort of your own homes :). This move is going to push me to focus more on finding a successful marketing strategy, and I have teamed up with a girl boss to help me figure that stuff out. (More to come on that soon!)

I have mixed feelings day to day, and even minute to minute sometimes, but overall I am so excited to work with Krystal and Lauren. I am so sorry to all my amazing customers who have become regulars at my current location, but luckily you will only have to walk about a block to find Tesoros new home. To all my regular shoppers, I will always be here for you guys! If you ever need help/suggestions, reach out to me anytime, as my workspace is only about 5 minutes away. 

I was recently out to dinner, remembering a friend that left the world to young, and I got a fortune cookie that summed my situation up nicely, “ Dwelling on the negative simply contributes to its power”. And that is one of the truest fortunes I have ever read. So, cheers to all of you wonderful people who read this, and I will post photos when the move in complete
