We've partnered with Alice Alexander to bring you a weekend long IN PERSON event on Saturday May 16th and Sunday May 17th in Philadelphia celebrating inclusive, sustainable, ethical fashion.

Shop our slow fashion marketplace with diverse retailers (in price point and size). All apparel retailers will carry up to a lease a size 22 with the majority of retailers carrying up to a 28/30 and several plus size exclusive retailers. Vendors include slow, sustainable, ethical brands as well as vintage and consignment. A little bit of everything!

Dynamic speakers ready to inspire and uplift 

Interactive panels facilitating thought provoking conversation 

Alterations and repairs station for consultations from trained sewing professionals

Hands on workshops focusing on personal style, mending, natural dyeing, leather care and MORE.

Kicking it off with a PARTY on Saturday May 16th, 4-9pm

Full day interactive conference and workshop 10am-3pm


-Hear from dynamic speakers on the intersection of inclusivity + slow fashion

-Panel speakers share their personal experience participating in the slow fashion movement

-Hands on workshops led by experts in personal style with a focus on plus sizes and ethical fashion; hand dyeing using natural materials; DIY mending and repairs; leather care and MORE.

-Access to the Alice Alexander alterations and repair station, bring any garment from any brand for a free consultation

-Breakfast snacks, lunch, coffee and drinks

-Photobooth, swag bag, networking and mingling

NEW! Virtual Tickets 5/17 

We’ve added another ticket level to the event! For those who want to participate at our full day conference and workshop but can’t make it to the event in Philadelphia we’re offering a virtual ticket.

Virtual tickets will provide access to live streaming via a private link on the day of the event. Attendees will have the ability to view the conference from the comfort of their home via their personal computer, tablet or phone.

Hear directly from our guest speakers and panel members. Participate virtually in our workshops. Get the full conference experience without leaving your home!

Virtual attendees will also receive a swag bag of workshop goodies courtesy of our participating sponsors and vendors. These will be mailed out to virtual attendees by Monday, May 11th.

Watch it solo or gather a group of friends for a virtual viewing party. The choice is yours.

About the Space  

The event will take place in our NEW shared studio space at Maken Studios at 3525 I Street in Philadelphia, PA. 

The space is beautiful with big, wide open windows and hardwood floors. 

Maken Studios is repurposed industrial space designed for makers, entrepreneurs, small businesses and creatives. The building is handicap accessible, accessible to public transit and has free parking.

Maken Studios is owned by Shift Capital and is a certified B Corp. 

We are so pumped for this event and we really want to see lots of folks of all shapes and sizes at the event. If you don't have anything going on that weekend, please come and check it out!
