Hair on Hide Pamela

We would like to share with you a story told to us by no one because it isn't true, but from the depths of our souls we hope you are entertained.

Asleep in her bed by 8:30pm, her mother made sure of it. She was only 8 and Santa was her favorite person in the world, to meet him would be a dream come true for her. It would kill her the day she found out Santa wasn't real. "Well, no use dwelling on it tonight," the mother thought as she closed the door. Hearing the click of the doorknob, the little girl counted to 5 before poking a single toe from under the covers. Once assured her parents were tucked into bed, she began the execution of her plan. Tiptoeing down the stairs guided by the twinkling lights of the tree, she got into "Santa catching" position behind the velvet couch. If Santa was flying, figured the little girl, he couldn't see her being naughty or nice for that matter (she didn't even eat a crumb of Santa's cookies). This was the night she was going to come face to face with her hero, Santa Claus. At about 11:32pm she heard a rustling up on the roof. Like a melon dropped from the top of a ladder, Santa shot down the chimney and bounced into the room. As he placed the gifts under the tree, the little girl trepidatiously emerged from behind the couch. Upon seeing her, Santa smiled and handed her a large leather tote. "Just for you," said Santa. Speechless (it was her first purse) and overcome with awe, the little girl sprinted back to her room hiding the tote in a place where only she could find it. It was special and she was not about to share it (her mom would have wanted to borrow it). Years later, that beloved tote went with her to college, carrying her laptop and lab reports all over campus. It went with her to her first job after graduation where it carried her lunch, work papers, and mini bucket bag. This tote that is mentioned in the story looked strikingly similar to the one pictured in this listing (go figure!). Who's to say this tote won't mean as much to you as that little girl's did to her. The only way to know is to buy it and find out. Santa would approve.
