We have officially been accepted to all the festivals/craft shows we applied for. Yay!! This is terrific news. 

The following is where and when Tesoro will be throughout the summer:

July 8th, 9th, and 10th The Promenade Art Show in Cape May, NJ

July 16th Open House at our studio (21 S High Street West Chester, PA)

July 30th & 31st Chase on the Riverfront Fine Craft Fair in Wilmington, DE

August 6th & 7th Stone Harbor Arts and Crafts Festival in Stone Harbor, NJ

September 10th & 11th Brandywine Festival of the Arts in Wilmington, DE

This past Thursday was our first outdoor event in West Chester. The first Thursday of every summer month in West Chester is called Swinging Summer Thursday. All the locals wander about, stores keep their doors open, and vendors line the streets. Fun for everyone, it is an amusing twist to a typical Thursday evening. 

We were assigned a spot directly across from one of the live bands. Graced with Latin music all night, well, it definitely put the "swinging" in Swinging Summer Thursday. 

Our booth (as you can see from the picture) evoked the spirit of Tesoro and was inviting to those who did not know us. This was the first time we had to set up the tent, and it was much less traumatic than expected. Although, weighing a dense 60 pounds carrying it around was no cakewalk. 

Both Brit and I really enjoyed seeing all of our local friends who have been so supportive since our launch. Without a doubt small towns have there perks. We also made a few new friends that night as well. #NoNewFriends does not apply to us. 

Although there will be several more Swinging Summer Thursdays before our next one (September 1st), we highly suggest you try and go to several if you live in the area. Enjoy those great outdoors.
