We Get Around

We Get Around

As a startup our budget is tight in general, which can sometimes be tough when it comes to marketing. Wanting people to learn our story but not having the money to promote it can be frustrating. Luckily, we live in the age of social media and influencers. How convenient for us.

At Tesoro, one of our 2017 new year's resolutions was to reach out to bloggers that share our aesthetic and would be a great fit with our brand. So far we have worked with Lindsey of The Motherchic and are working on a very special project for Jacklyn of Three Sisters One Closet (stay tuned for this one!).

The Motherchic, created by Lindsey, aims to bring a pinch of glamour to motherhood by giving Philadelphia moms tips, tricks, and suggestions on where to buy those hot new booties that will turn them into a rockstar. Lindsey has four boys by the way, so she knows what she's talking about. After reaching out to Lindsey, we were so thrilled she agreed to work with us! The Brittany reversible clutch in sky blue pebble grain and embossed Southwestern leather from S/S 2016 was the bag she chose to style. We may be a bit biased, but the photos turned out amazing. Lindsey styled the bag beautifully. Scroll down to see the photos for yourself.

In other news, Tesoro was featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer with an awesome ad designed by Brit. We actually were given the ad space through Stacie, an advertising consultant for Philadelphia Media Network. Our local Chamber of Commerce often throws networking events at various businesses around town and it was at one of these events we met Stacie. Just when you're ready to give up on yet another networking event full of small talk and fancy cheese it pays off. Thanks Stacie and we hope to work with you again!
